Steel Bracing Plates

Bracing Plates:

The Safetor SE015HP-2PBP bracing plates have been designed to suit either the SE015HP or the SE002LP to give added strength to the anchor and the structure.

The SE015HP-2PBP brace plates work in two ways:

• The two brackets form a triangle around the stem of the anchor which creates a bend point for the stem and gives a more solid 360 degree working area as seen in diagram 2.
• They enable you to attach a bracing member (either Steel or Timber) from the anchor to the purlin below or above the attachment point of the anchor as seen in diagram 3.

  Material:

  Mild Steel 6mm Light Plate 250 grade.

  Either a steel purlin or double timber can be used as a bracing member between the SE015HP-2PBP plates and the purlin. The SE015HP-2PBP have been designed to suit the mounting plates of the SE015HP & SE002LP anchors.

  It is recommened that a structural engineer be consulted before installing any height safety anchor points or bracing.
